Make Way….

….to the great outdoors? I don’t camp or glamp or fish or boat but I do like to sit on a beach and listen to the ocean but what about the exciting great outdoors of being in a city! New York, Philly, Pittsburgh to name the ones closest to me!!! Walking around taking in the sites and doing some shopping with lots of the great outdoors and many unusual sites that you can encounter. To make my travels to my great outdoors a little more interesting, I decided to use an Art Impressions stamp set skate boarding down the streets of the city. My cityscape is Hero Arts City HeroScape stamp and die set and some ink blending for my city skyline.

I’ll be sharing my card today if accepted to:

Double D Challenges: The Great Outdoors theme. I think my card will fit in with the section of traveling. Traveling to a city and taking in the sites.

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care, be safe and stay cool.

  1. What a fabulous way to show the outdoors in a city. You are wonderfully creative in some of your ideas Gayle and this is amazing. The humor is also a lot of fun. I LOVE this!

    1. LOL…thanks, Johanna, sometimes I need to make a game with my cards and the challenges. I have a friend who will like this one.

    1. Thanks Darlene for a fun challenge. I sometimes need to make a game with the challenges. We walked many miles in Pittsburgh and could have used some wheels.

  2. I love it!! That’s my kind of big city granny. I’m sure you did have fun with this one.

    1. Thanks, Gerry, it is always fun to come up with somethig different. I like to ‘crack’ myself up at times!!!

  3. Yup! That’s the best kind of the great outdoors, sitting on a beach with a cold drink and a good book! 😉 Super cute image! Loving that skateboarding Nana lol Thanks so much for playing along with us at The Double D, The Great Outdoors Challenge. Donna, DT Member.

  4. Such a fun card!! Love how you spotlighted your skateboarding gal on the “off-the-corner” circle with your city scape as your background. Very creative!!
