November Nuptials

My card today is for a young couple that are getting married this November. I’m usually not that far ahead with my occasion cards but the wedding theme challenge with Can You Handle the Pressure worked perfectly for me.

My card uses a SimonSaysStamp Circle Rings 3D embossing folder which is the main requirement with CYHTP blog challenge. I don’t have a lot of wedding stamps but the Gina K Designs Always and Forever stamp is a lovely silhouette stamp and simple sentiment in a beautiful script which are my go to wedding stamps. The white shimmer panel was embossed, the image stamped, heat embossed in clear embossing powder and cut using Spellbinder’s classic oval & scallop oval dies. To add a little color to my card, I found the Gina K Designs Watercolor Floral ephemera pack and patterned paper for inside the card with the sentiment stamped on a heart die cut.

My card will be shared with:

Can You Handle The Pressure – Embossing Folder and anything goes with a twist of wedding.

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and be safe.

    1. Thanks so much Diana. I was thinking I should do a 5×7 for the wedding but most of my supplies are for the A2 size.

  1. What a beauty Gayle! Love the silhouette and your over all design with that pretty pink floral swag is just perfect for a wedding card! Awesome embossed background too! You go girl!! 1. Thanks Darlene. I always have fun with your challenges and what’s this a new one coming? Oh My CAS will definitely be a challenge.

    1. Thanks, Bonnie, I didn’t think I had the right kind of small flowers to put around my oval and the ephemera is pretty and ready to go. Hope that’s not cheating! LOL!!!

  2. Very elegant. Love the silhouette stamp and the touch of pink. I think the black & white combo makes such beautiful wedding cards.

    1. Thanks, Gerry, and the bride’s wedding party is wearing black with the matrons of honor in a soft floral print so I was hoping to achieve that connection.
