Adventure Time

It’s the As You Can See It challenge blog’s 300th challenge and their challenge is to share an Adventure: Travel, Extreme Sports, Exploration, Daring. Well nothing can be more daring than chaperoning Kindergartners to a circus inside a college field house! Of course, 6 year olds always need to use the bathroom too. We were in line for the bathroom when the elephants were coming into the building. We had to squeeze against the wall and the elephants were so big they had to crawl under the doors. I’m not a fan of the circus and only hope that the animals are treated humanely but it was an awesome site to see.

Back to my card which uses Hero Arts Leaves & Vines Fancy die, My Monthly Hero stamp & die set, and some lightly inke clouds for my background using Pretty Pink Posh Layered Clouds Stencil.

Congratulations on the 300th blog challenge and my card will be shared with

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and be safe.

The skies are clear again in Pennsylvania. And by the way, my elephant adventure was 40 years ago!!! LOL!

  1. I love elephants and dream of riding one at some point. I can imagine how much room they take up and how immense they look when you are squeezed out of place. Its a great card and the monkey is such a fun one. Aren’t Orangutans red? Love that Hero Arts border die cut.

  2. What an all round adventure! A kindy trip – definitely. A close up view of the elephants – definitely! Love that bright green frame of foliage – it looks like the elephant is going to burst through. Thanks so much for joining in with us again, especially for our 300th challenge.

    1. Thanks Gerry and yes it was a lot of fun being a chaperone especially to the younger kids who were excited about everything.

  3. Very cute, Gayle – love this fancy elephant and monkey – and the border die is amazing! Very jungle-y, lol. Thanks so much for playing at As You See It!

  4. As a former teacher, I can imagine the fearful thoughts for the safety of the kindies with those gigantic beasts pressing by! What an adventure! Your card evokes the elephant in it’s natural element and the monkey on it’s back is a cute addition! I love that jungle frame you used. Thanks for joining us for our 300th challenge at As You See It Challenges.

  5. Love the sense of fun from your elephant & monkey – your scene looks much calmer than the one in your circus tale! Thanks for joining our adventure challenge at As You See It!
