I love the Retro Rubber Challenge as it helps me use the many stamps in my craft room. This month’s is a fun one with many bright colors.

I began working on these treats the minute I saw the challenge. This challenge is all about color. I had to use three of the five colors listed: yellow, pink/red, orange, green, brown. I used all five of the colors with these wonderful treats. The stamp set I used is Avery Elle Sweet Treats, 2018. I stamped these on watercolor paper, then added the colors using various dye inks and water. I added the basket weave as it was already embossed, sitting in my stash. It is crumb cake cardstock by Stampin Up and the embossing folder is a retired, SU folder. The yellow cardstock and the strip of patterned paper are Paper Studio, all sitting waiting to be used.

I think I am ready for a bit of that ice cream.

What fun summer treats. They look good enough to eat.
Thank you! I added glossy accents and a few faces.
Cute!!! Makes me wish I could eat ice cream. I like how you just embossed the border.
I had a larger piece already embossed, so I trimmed it down. I was hoping for a picnic basket feel. Thanks!
The colors of summer are so fun in these stamps. Ice cream it is then. I don’t eat it either, but a fruity sorbet fits the bill.
I rarely eat it either, but they do look tasty. Thanks!
This is such a fun card Lisa. The treats look good enough to eat and you used all the colours too. Way to go.
I did use the colors! I couldn’t limit myself. Thanks!!
Such a colorful and fun card! Perfect for summer!!
Fun summer card. Love the colorful ice cream pops. The embossed portion looks great.
So very fun, Lisa – Love these happy ice creams! Seeing these sweet treats takes me back to hearing the truck coming, lol. Thanks so much for playing at Retro Rubber!
Thank you! We have a van that comes around and plays music; it sells ice cream. The neighbor kids love it!
Cute card! Thank you for playing along with Retro Rubber Challenge Blog.
