I received a new stamp set recently, so I have been creating birthday cards in several colors.

This is the Ricocco Rose version. I found this layout on Pinterest and it look me to Frenchie Stamps. I loved her layout, so I used her design and created similar versions.

My card fits in two rows. It fits the right down row: embossing, patterned paper, and birthday. It also fits the top across row: bright colors, layers, embossing.
As I said, I used Ricocco Rose ink, vellum, SU patterned paper in the Ricocco Rose color, and the embossing is both heat and dry. The dry embossing uses a folder called Old World Paper. The Happy Birthday is heat embossed on Ricocco Rose cardstock in white.
May has many birthdays that I need to send cards for. I made the same card in Mango Melody, Lost Lagoon, and Seaside Spray. They will be sent very soon. This will be posted here: http://thepaperplayers.blogspot.com/2023/04/pp638-tic-tac-toe-challenge-from-anne.html
Beautiful. I really like the design and what a good idea creating the same design in different colors.
It makes it easy for me to remember what I sent. These are for people I really do not know and I get thank you messages and often have no idea what I sent. If I stick to one theme per month, I have an idea. Thanks!
You are so clever with the tracking technique
Thanks! I do this quite often.
Love this design and the piece of vellum behind the flower. Great idea for your cards. Nothing worse than someone thanking you for a card and you forgot what you sent them.
If I made better notes, it would be easier to remember. Thanks!
Beautiful!!! Love the vellum piece behind the flower.
Thank you!
This is beautiful. I love the textures with the embossing and the smooth vellum. I can imagine how beautiful it is in so many different colors. Great job on it. I love your theme for a month idea! That may get stolen and used. 😉
Thank you! Steal away. I have been doing this quite often for those people I really do not know, but are on my list of cards to send.
Great card in a lovely colour and the ones you made in other colours probably look as good as this one does. I always forget which card goes to which person, but only once have I sent the same idea of a card to someone which is dumb luck.
I will not remember which person gets which color, but will have an idea what I sent when I receive the thank you. I receive at least four names a month to send birthday cards to for Splitcoast Stampers. I am familiar with several people who send the cards, but not everyone. Thanks for the comment!
Love the texture and all the layers you added, and that rose color is beautiful! Great card design!!
Lisa, Your card is so pretty. This is one of my favorite flower sets. I love that you kept it monochromatic. Thanks for taking part in The Paper Players Challenge this week.
Thank you! I am still learning this set, so monochromatic was an easy way to create.
So pretty! Love the textured background. Thanks so much for joining us this week over at The Paper Players!
Thank you!
