My card today was made for Day 7 of my OnLineCard Class Stenciled 2 in which we were instructed to add a stamped image through the stencils. For my stenciled portion, I used SimonSaysStamps Mix & Match circles, ink blended and the flipped the stencil and ink blended in a darker shade. After the ink was completely dry, I replaced the stencil and stamped the butterfly image from Stampin Up’s Hoppy Easter in versamark and white embossing powder and heat set. I added a Gina K Designs word die and stamped sentiment to a piece of vellum and a few punched butterflies. Lots of different techniques for this OCC class. It was fun to particiapte.
My card today will be shared with the April Stencil Fun Challenge to use a stencil with a theme of PATTERNS.

You are the queen of mixed media. Congrats.
Now that’s a scary thought….me and mixed media! LOL.
Nice idea. I like the butterflies peeking out of the circles. Lovely!
So pretty! Love the soft blues with the white. Looks like a fun technique.
Beautiful card! Great use of that stencil … love how you turned it for even more appeal. Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our STENCIL FUN challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

It’s always fun to play along with your challenges. Thanks for all you do.
You did a good job with your stenciling here. Very creative use of the stencil and with the addition of the butterflies it is stunning. Using the vellum was a good idea as you can still see behind it.
Thanks, Johanna, I’ve been using vellum more often. It’s a shame to cover up more detailed backgrounds.
What a great card you created for this day of class! Love your fun butterflies in the stencil.
Thanks, Golda, everything is better with butterflies. I did enjoy that class and my end result.
