Easter 2023

Can You Handle The Pressure?

I do believe this will be my Easter card for this year. As of course I am behind schedule again, I’m not sure how many cards I will get completed but I’m really happy with this one. After using the Taylored Expressions Redeemer embossing folder, I then carefully lined up the Redeemer layering stencils**** and ink blended in Gina K Designs Lovely Lavender and Wild Lilac and SimonSaysStamp Seafoam and Surf inks. The final item is the Redeemer detail die which was cut from SSS matte gold cardstock. I really like how these Taylored Expressions pieces were designed to work perfectly together. I’m hoping to complete another card tomorrow using the Foil It background and stencils. I think it could also be embossed but will save that for another time. I didn’t add an outside sentiment. What do you think?

Today’s card will be shared with the Can You Handle the Pressure blog. My card includes the required embossing folder and the Easter twist.

****corrected to read layering stencils not dies.

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and be safe.

  1. Wow! Gorgeous!! If I am reading this correctly, you added all that color to the raised areas of your embossed panel?! Wow! Looks amazing. Love the gold cross as well.

    1. Lisa, the color was added by using the Redeemer layering stencils. I used the wrong word in my description but corrected my post to read stencils.

  2. WOW!! This card is amazing. It would be perfect for so many occasions depending on the colors used.

  3. For someone who is saying she has less mojo than usual, this card is amazing. It is stunning in design and colour. Fabulous card and a winner for sure.

    1. Thanks, Johanna, this is an awesome set from Taylored Expressions. I’ll be added the foiled, embossed, stenciled version soon.

  4. Wow, your Easter card turned out beautifully! I love how you used the Taylored Expressions Redeemer embossing folder with the layering stencils and ink blended in those gorgeous colors. The final touch of the Redeemer detail die in SSS matte gold cardstock really makes it pop. Can’t wait to see your next creation with the Foil It background and stencils. Keep up the great work!
