Batty Coin

Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge

Most Magical Time of the Year Challenge 6

The Halloween stamps and supplies are always within in reach with now not only one monthly challenge but two! I will be sharing my card today with the Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge – March Anything Halloween challenge and a newer to me Most Magical Time of the Year challenge blog #6 which is either anything Christmas or Halloween Artist Trading Card or Coins! So of course I had to google this ATC and decided on making a ATCoin and attaching it to my card front and was totally inspired by Two Old Bats Halloween mood board for my card.

After die cutting a 2-1/2″ circle, I used a SimonSaysStamp bat stencil and versamark and green embossing powder (probably hard to see), then decided for some reason to add the bloodshot eyeballs (now it looks like a black moon). This was my ATCoin part of the Magical challenge. Back to the card, found my Hero Arts bat background stamp and stamped in veramark again and embossed with Taylored Expressions glitter green embossing powder. Die cut the Whimsy Stamps Drippy Frame die which was lightly sprayed with Tim Holtz Twisted Citron Distress Oxide spray, SSS sentiment strip and Taylored Expressions bats from Gus & Gertie halloween stamp and die set completes my card today.

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and be safe.

  1. Fun, fun, card!! I love it. The bloodshot eyeballs are the perfect addition. And I love the drippy frame.

  2. I’ve been off the computer for a couple of days as we had friends visiting. It will be a while before I catch up! Love this spooky card. The way you added the green and then the blood shot eyes sure make it a creepy card.

  3. Totally spook-tastic that you made an ATCoin with this lovely goo green! Thanks for playing with us at the Most Magical Time of the Year Challenge! Nan, DT

  4. Love the card, love how you used the mood board for inspiration. Thanks for joining our March challenge at Two Old Bats!
