My Favorite Flower

One of my favorite flowers are tulips. When it gets close to spring, I always look for tulips blooming. The As You See It Challenge is to share my favorite part of spring.

My Favorite Thing About Spring is flowers blooming. I chose tulips today. This is a Gina K Designs set called Spring Tulips Mini. The dies used to cut the image are from The Stamps of Life. The dies used to cut the greeting is a Stampin Up die set that goes with Harvest Apples. I like how it has a little flower on each side. I used alcohol markers to color the tulips.

Thanks for stopping by. What is your favorite thing about spring? It is 58 degrees today, so I am definitely thinking of spring.

  1. We share a love of this right of spring. I would have to say I love the rain. We still have 2 foot drifts of the white stuff so the sound and smell of rain is anxiously awaited.

  2. Lisa, what a beautiful spring palette you’ve chosen here for your tulips! I love the pastel colours of spring! I like how the tulips mirror each other, too! Thanks for filling in the blank for us at As You See It Challenges!

  3. So sweet, Lisa – I think flowers are a big favorite for Spring, and tulips are among my favorites, too! Love this design, and your yummy coloring – just beautiful! Thanks so much for playing at As You See It!

  4. Your colouring just keeps getting better and better and the flowers look so real they pop of the page. Gorgeous creation Lisa.

  5. What glorious tulips! The bright colours you’ve chosen are so cheerful! I think your layout is fantastic. Thanks for joining in with us again at As You See It.

  6. Lisa your tulips are beautiful – a riot of spring colour! Their mini size almost had me thinking they were crocus – another spring favourite of mine. Great layout too – the mirroring either side of your sentiment really packs a punch. Thanks for playing along with our Spring challenge over at As You See It this week!
