Pumpkin Plaid

Double D Challenges – Octoberfest

Crafting Happiness Challenge 135 Halloween all month long

I made this card for an orange and black challenge only to realize that it required an embossing folder!!! So not to let a perfectly good Halloween card go to waste I found that it would also be acceptable for the Double D Challenges of Octoberfest and a new to me challenge Crafting Happiness Challenge 135 Halloween all month long. Thanks to our buddy Lisa K for letting me know about the Crafting Happiness Challenge blog.

My background is a Concord & 9th Woven Plaid background stamp and the pumpkins are Stampin Up’s Fall Fest stamp set with the sentiment from Gina K Designs Haunts & Harvest.

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and be safe.

  1. Fantastic Halloween card. I thought the background was patterned paper when I first spied it, but it’s stamped. Love the black plaid with the contrast of the orange pumpkins. Thanks for sharing at the Double D, “Octoberfest” Challenge.

  2. This beauty is certainly acceptable for our challenge! LOVE your overall design! I always look forward to seeing what you create for our challenges … I’m always in AWE! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often. We appreciate your support!

    1. Thanks, Judy, I wasn’t quite sold on this background stamp but it may have worked well with this card.

    1. Thanks, Golda, it was a failure to follow instructions but I’ll send the card to some little ones.

  3. Cute, cute, cute!!! Love that plaid background with the scalloped border. Those pumpkins are so adorable.

  4. Love this one too. Too bad about the folder but it worked elsewhere which is good. Makes me smile and I think the design is great.

    1. Thanks, Johanna, at first I wasn’t sure about this background stamp but it seems to work with my pumpkins.
