Anything goes embossing with a twist of the beach is the challenge with the Can You Handle the Pressure group. First thing I need for the beach is my chair and an umbrella and of course a pair of flip flops. My required embossed image was made using a Cuttlebug ProvoCraft embossing folder…sorry no name on this one. I lightly sponged some kraft ink on the raised embossed area and mounted it on navy cardstock. The flip flops on my sandy panel and the fussy cut beach chair and umbrella are from Gina K Designs Hello Sunshine stamp set.
Fun challenge as always with this group.
A great weekend which began with a visit to our 4 year old granddaughter and then led to some extra card making from our granddaughter and grandson. Chase made a card for his sister Brooke’s birthday (forgot to take a photo) and our Brooke made these two fun cards.

Love these Grouchy Pets from C C Designs and apparently so does Brooke. The poodle is cotton candy colored and the slim line card is for when Brooke feels extra sassy. She did a great job. She’s double digits today….omg growing up too quickly. It was a great weekend for us .
Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care, be safe and stay cool.
What a relaxing card. A trip to the beach sounds so good right now. Love your colors. How wonderful that you got to see all of your grandchildren this weekend and spend time card making with the two older ones. Those are priceless and precious memories. Brooke’s cards are cute and I’m sure Chase did a great job on her birthday card.
Thanks, Judy, it was a fun if tiring weekend with the grands. They do like to create cards, too. Wish I was at the beach to escape some of this heat.
Love your beach card! It looks inviting. Love the grandchildren stories. Brooke’s cards are so fun with the bright colors.
Thanks, Lisa, it was a fun weekend and fun card to create.
Fun beach scene! Thank you for sharing with us at CYHTP Embossing Folder Challenge.
What a fun, relaxing card. The flip flops almost look like they’re floating through the air. I’m sure you had a wonderful weekend with the grandkids. Brooke’s cards are so cute. Looks like she could give grandma a little competition. 😊
Thanks, Gerry, I wasn’t sure which direction to put the flip flops toe down or heel down???? Yes my Brooke is quite creative.
What a fun summer-themed card! Love it! Love the cards your granddaughter made too. It’s so awesome you have several mini stamp buddies!!
Thanks, Lisa, my mini stamp buddy told me she didn’t mean to be rude by my stamp space was pretty messy! Got to love her and time to clean up.
This is just awesome my friend and in case you didn’t know, I’m the Flip Flop Queen around here so your card really spoke to me! Yes, my moto is ‘No Snow, No Shoes’ (but I have been known to wear them in the snow too as long as it’s less than an inch lol) Thanks so much for playing in our challenge at Can You Handle the Pressure … we appreciate your support and hope to see you again next challenge!

LOL…Darlene….too funny. Thanks for another fun challenge Ms. FlipFlop Queen.
Gayle, your card is great, and I love Brooke’s, too. So fun that she wants to make cards with you. Chase, too. You are one great grandmother to have them want to join in on what you do.
Thanks, Golda, last year for her birthday I bought her a misti, paper cutter and other supplies. I give her a supply of card bases and layers, too. It’s fun to stamp with her.
What a fun card and a great take on the challenge. Our grandbabies are going to be entering and winning challenges themselves soon. What fun that they like to create along with you.
Thanks, Johanna, it’s always a good time when the grands visit.
How clever and beachy – I love your design!! Those flip flops are simply FABULOUS!!! Lots of wonderful work here, and great take on the challenge. Thanks so much for playing along with us over at Can You Handle the Pressure, hope to see you back here again soon!
