I created a card with Day 7 where the focus is on stacked die cuts.

I chose to use punches for my stacked die cuts. I layered thin Hobby Lobby white paper. My punches are very old as they are the whale type punch from EK Success. I was thrilled to come up with a reason to actually use the punches. I decided to use the birthday greeting as well as the gift box. The patterned paper is Echo Park from a few years ago. I used a scrap with the gift box. The gift box is a Sizzix/Stephanie Bernard die. The greeting is from The Stamps of Life, so a lot of Stephanie is on this card.
I really struggled with week 1 of the class, so I was thrilled with Day 7. I knew I had supplies for the technique being taught.
I really like your stacked die cut technique, Lisa. The balloons and that gift box with patterned paper really was a fun idea.
Thank you! Those punches are well over 10 years old and are barely used. I saw an idea in the gallery where a cupcake was added, so I pulled one out, but really like the gift box.
Nice bright birthday card. Love your stacked die cuts and pp. The gift box with the same pp as the background really looks cool.
Thanks! I have several completed ones, but it really needed one to match. A scrap was used!
This is great Lisa. The stacked images work well and using a punch was genius.
Thank you! I enjoy using the many items I have.
This is such a fun way to use dies. Kind of like building blocks, the designs are endless.
Cute card. I like how the gift matches the background. Love the sentiment style. How great to be able to use some long unused punches.
Thanks! I have many that are very used.
I meant rarely used! Can’t get the words correct sometimes.
What a fun card! Love your dimensional, monotone background!
