Spring CardCamp 2022 Day 2’s lesson was using the Joseph’s Coat technique with a stencil. This is a great technique and creates a dramatic image. I’ve done a few cards using this after Gina K included this technique on one of her YouTube videos. Today’s card includes Distress Oxide inks in Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron and Black soot. Hero Florals Stamp & Cut sentiment and lady bug, and the stencil is a Waverly Floral Ornate stencil which I believe I purchase at my local Hobby Lobby.
My second card is a twist on the Joseph’s Coat hosted by Jessica Frost-Ballas and challenged me to used layering stencils, ink one layer, clean off, then replace and ink with versamark and clear embossing powder, repeat for all layers. I think this may have worked better with a layering stencil that does not overlap the other layers image but I think it still turned out pretty cool.

Another fun day in school. Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and be safe.
Both beautiful cards! You are nailing these techniques. I did begin a card today. I hope to finish it soon.
Your homework turned out great. Those are both fun techniques.
Thanks, Judy, Gina K did this technique and it’s so cool.
Well don’t you get a gold star for your school work today. Never stop learning and exploring.
It’s so fun seeing what you’re learning! Great cards you created with the technique.
Both are beautiful. I agree the second one is pretty cool.
