I chose to create with the color pallet from The Paper Players, Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, and Night of Navy.

I used Spellbinders Glimmer Plates in this card. The flower is a peony illustrated by Yana Smakula. The greeting is also a Glimmer Plate. I used Hammermill paper for the Glimmer as it usually works well. When I used my Glimmer machine, I spend quite a bit of time and all I do is make Glimmer pieces and then let them sit until I want to use them. Today was a day to use a few of the pieces.
I took out the ink pads that match the colors in the challenge. I watercolored the peony using a water brush. I added a few gems and called it complete. It has a lot more shimmer in real life as I am not a great photographer with foil.

Thanks for spending time with me. I enjoyed the challenge.
Oh yes the idea of all that shimmer and shine come through but am sure it is stunning in real life.
Thanks! It is a bit toned down with the blue. They are pretty when it works.
So pretty Lisa. You have mastered the glimmer machine. It adds so much interest to the design. Great coloring for the color challenge.
Thanks! I do mess up a lot with the machine, but I do better if I keep using it. I enjoy the color challenge.
I’ll bet this really shimmers in R.L. it is certainly beautiful here. You are doing well with your glimmer machine.
Thank you! I keep trying to get good results, which takes patience.
Beautiful!! I can just imagine how it shimmers in real life.
Thank you!
Beautiful, Lisa! The gold adds a lovely touch of elegance and looks stunning against the perfectly water colored flower. I am so glad you shared with The Paper Players this week!
Thank you!
I find foil especially hard to photograph too. Your card is so pretty, Lisa! I love how the florals and glimmer pop on the navy background, creating a strong focal point. Well Done! Thanks so much for joining us this week at The Paper Players.
Thank you!
