My card will be entered into the Can You Handle The Pressure challenge which requires the use of an embossing folder and the twist of plaid.
My embossing folder is from Cuttlebug with lots of circle some flowers which may have been a spring bundle. After locating some plaid patterned paper from my stash I added it to a side panel of the embossing folder. Die cut a Spellbinders in’spire Flower Power II die from a SU Banners die and added to my card front. I then die cut the flower from white card stock once again and also from the plaid patterned paper and inlaid the plaid into my petals.
Another fun challenge and a way to keep on bringing out those embossing folders.
Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and be safe.

Very cool. I like how you’ve used the plaid in the flower.

Thanks, Darlene, I appreciate your commenting and another great challenge.
Your plaid really packs a punch, quite the vibe for that flower. Of course the ef adds the right touch to this show stopper.
Thanks, Bonnie, there was so much white going on I knew I needed some pops of color.
Bonnie’s right, that plaid really packs a punch. Very clever to put the plaid behind the flower. This one is for sure a winner.
Thanks, Gerry, my soft colors seemed to be more of a gingham until I came across this plaid paper. I appreciate your commenting.
Nice! Love the plaid!
Thanks so much Diana.
What a fun way to use the plaid! That flower is great with it.
Thanks, Golda, I found this idea on Pinterest and was hoping it would work.
What a fabulous card. Your use of the plaid is wonderful and the EF is also great. At first I thought I was looking at a CD or record but then I realized it was a flower.
This is a great card. I’m glad I saw it on Can You Handle the Pressure challenge. I’ll have to go through my stash to see if this is a Stampin’ Up! plaid. If so, I HAVE to use it!! TFS.
Thanks so much for your comments. I don’t believe the plaid was from SU maybe Gina K Designs. It was mixed in with my 6×6 patterned papers.
