A clean and simple sketch challenge + silhouette image is the challenge for the AAA Cards Challenge. I really do like silhouette images but trying to find one small enough for my CAS card was a little challenging. I figure I couldn’t go wrong with this butterfly stamp.
I first die cut my circle to mask off my panel, then using SimonSaysStamp’s In the Round stencil blending Gina K Designs inks in Key Lime and Turquoise Sea. After removing the stencil, blended more ink on the circle. The butterfly is another Inkadinkadoo oldie “Utopiary” and sentiment from GKD’s Let’s Talk another oldie. All of this white and clean space on my card I was nervous about putting an inky fingerprint or two on it. Phew!!!
Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you. Take care and be safe.

Very pretty. That butterfly looks great with the stenciled circle. You’ve been a very busy lady. Wish I could get some time and motivation.
Judy, your mojo will return and I’ll be anxious to see your beautiful posts.
Looks great! Perfect CAS card.
Hugs, Lisa, thanks for the support.
Beautiful CAS card. I think silhouette images are so cool.
Thanks, Gerry, I appreciate your commenting.
A wonderful CAS card Gayle. I love it and enjoy seeing what you come up with. the stenciled background is perfect and the butterfly looks so good on top.
Thanks, Johanna, you know how tricky these CAS challenges can be but I was happy with the way this one turned out.
Love what you did with those sponged dots inside that circle. I feel you pain about fingerprints on your card, I worry about that all the time – my best friend is my mono sand eraser! Thanks for joining us at AAA Cards. Tristan DT.
Thanks for a great challenge and I have a mono sand eraser too, as well as my hand sanitizer on my desk for those inky fingers.
Great take on this challenge, especially love how your incorporate a stencil in the show.
Thanks, Bonnie, these CAS challenges always are a challenge for me but I like the way this one turned out.
I really like this. What a great idea to have the color behind a silhouette butterfly.
