I created a card with Gina K Designs challenge for the month of February by stamping my own patterned paper making a mini-slimline gatefold card.

I used Elegant Asters stamp and die set for the butterflies and most of the stamped layer. I added a few images from You’re the Best Mini set. I saw this idea on a Jennifer McGuire video.

Oh, I love this – so soft and charming!
Thank you! I struggled a bit getting the score lines right. I finally took out a thin piece of paper to get the lines in the correct spot. I must have missed it on JM’s video.
I just need to copy and paste Diana’s comment– Oh, I love this – so soft and charming! The butterflies are so beautiful.
Thank you! Very different kind of card for me, but it was fun to put together.
Great card, Lisa, the soft colors and butterflies are perfect for this mini slimline gatefold card.
Thank you, Gayle. If you hadn’t created a card for the challenge, I would have forgotten. Thanks for keeping up with several challenges.
Great the you figured a work around to get the results you were hoping for. Love that you made your own pp, and the soft butterflies are heartwarming.
Thanks!
I’m also in love with this card. Love the softness of it and your design is great. I know exactly what you mean about lines and scoring. Sometimes my hands slip and the lines end up wonky.
Thank you!
Lisa, this is a beautiful card! I love all the color you incorporated without it being an overload. Glad you were able to get it to work for you, as it really is beautiful.
Beautiful Card and love those Butterflies! ❤️ Thank you for joining in this months challenge over at Gina K. Designs
Gorgeous card. I have trouble with gatefold cards, but the butterflies really make a great closure.
