Will “pink” replace orange and black as the new Halloween colors? Probably not but at least for the February Anything Challenge mood board, it sure seemed that would happen. This was a fun option for Halloween. My card for this challenge uses Gina K Designs Haunted Harvest stamp set and Tim Holtz Sizzix Garden Greens. Lots of pink in various shades but it looks cute to my eyes.
My first attempt was way more detailed (next card). The frame border is Hero Arts Leaves & Vines die, Stamps from Inkadinkadoo Cats & Bats, SimonSaysStamp Happy Haunting, Spook up Some Fun, Spellbinders Deckled Rectangle and Ink Antics Cloud stencil. My first thought was I wanted to try Buddy Bonnie’s cloisonne technique. I pulled out a Halloween Haven catalog that Bonnie had sent to me and stamped my pumpkin in versamark over a pinkish page of the catalog, heat embossed in bronze embossing powder and fussy cut it. Stamped the image again and heat embossed in bronze, then stenciled pink clouds. At this point I wasn’t sure which direction to go and decided to cut down the image and surround it with the leaf frame. Stamped a few bats and added the sentiment. It’s ok! LOL….Better than horrible.

Love to play Halloween year round with the Two Old Bats and their fun mood boards.
Thanks for stopping in today. It was a beautiful day in Pennsylvania. A taste of spring…take that Punxsutawney Phil! LOL!! Take care and be safe.
When I saw only the title I was very leery, but should have known you would so rock this. I actually like the second one but your first one is so sweet and not Halloween. That neon bat in the inspiration image is a hoot.
LOL…I should have kept my second card as is before cutting down but it was ok. They do have the most fun mood boards at Two Old Bats.
I like both cards! I do not think of pink with Halloween, but your cards look great.
Thanks, Lisa, purples for Halloween but normally not pinks but it was a fun mood board to play around with.
Great cards – love all the shades of pink!
Thanks, Diana, I appreciate your comments.
Both cards are fabulously fun! I chose pink for the mood board being Feb and all, I kind of got the idea from a pink and black Prima Halloween paper pad I purchased, kind of fun! Thank you for joining our challenge at Two Old Bats!

Thanks, Diana, I love the mood boards. They are always so much fun and this was a great change from spooky!
Love, love your adorable pumpkins, they look so sweet and pretty in pink.
Your second card reminded me of “Cinderella” and the magic pumpkin transformed into a gorgeous carriage.
Thank you for playing with us over at 2 OLD BATS HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE.
Stay healthy and safe.

Love those cute pink pumpkins and the second one does have a Cinderella feel to it. I don’t think pink will replace orange for Halloween but I’m sure going to join this Two Old Bats challenge.
Well I would never have thought of using pink, but you truly rocked this challenge. The mood board really inspired you. I like both cards a lot.
LOL … YOU GO GIRL! These are both just awesome! I’m always thrilled when I see your name pop up in the entries … I just know I’m going to find some amazing inspiration from your designs! Yes, as you can see, Diane & I have a lot of fun creating our mood boards and it’s so nice to hear they are appreciated!
Thanks so much for joining in the fun at the Two Old Bats Halloween challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back each month. Remember, if we have 50+ entries, (you can enter THREE times), we will give a PRIZE.

Gayle, how fun to go with pink pumpkins and leaves! I really like the pumpkins on your second card with the beautiful shades of pink and that fun layered frame you created. Your first card is fantastic! Your different shades of pink leaves for the background makes a gorgeous frame for your pretty pumpkins. Your sentiments are both just the right color to stand out beautifully and compliment your colors. You really do rock the fun Halloween mood boards!
Adorable, fun card! Thank you for sharing with us at Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge.
I don’t know what the cloisonne technique is, but both of these cards are gorgeous! I love that everyone is enjoying the pink mood board!
Thanks so much for joining us at Two Old Bats!

Thanks for commenting, Dalis. Another friend did cloisonne and I didn’t know about it either so had to google and found some YouTube instructions.
I like both of your Pink Pumpkin Halloween cards! Pink Pumpkins also stand for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October! Thanks for sharing with us at Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge!
