It’s Color Week at Just Us Girls with colors of Light Blue, White and Silver. I stitched the Sparkling Mandala from Spellbinders with Silver and Blue Opal Metallic Threads. The Blue Opal really looks more white, so I used the Snowflake Coverplate by Gina K Designs in a light blue CS from my stash, and placed it over a piece of Silver CS also by GKD, on a white card base. The sentiment is from the Winter Poinsettia set by Stamp Simply.

Beautiful! All three companies product works so well together. Love the stitching.
Thanks Lisa. Stitching with the metallic threads is rather fussy, but the end result is worth it.
Gorgeous! That stitching looks amazing!! Very creative idea.
Thanks Lisa. I enjoy stitching and the holes from the dies are easier to see than on counted cross stitch material.
Judy, this is beautiful! I love your stitching on the mandala.
Wow! This is stunning! And agree with everyone else’s comments!
This is such a dynamic mixed media. The fussiness of the thread was well worth the effort.
Beautiful mandala with the stitching. These are my kind of snowflakes…the ones on cards. Great card.
Beautiful!! Love the mandala with the stitching.
Wow! This is a beauty and the stitching is amazing. The design is just right for the challenge and you got the colours beautifully.
Oh wow! Your stitching is beautiful! This is really a lovely card. Thanks for playing with Just Us Girls!
Thanks so much Lisa. I’ve got to confess I’m a little bummed by the fact that I can’t seem to add a thumbnail of my card added. Vicki fixed it for me once and told me if the first adding it from the web didn’t work to try to add it from my computer. After I clicked add it from the web, it had already added just the link, not the thumbnail. Then I couldn’t seem to delete it to add it from my computer. This is the second week it’s happened. If I get a chance to play next week, I’ll try adding it from my computer first.
Love the layers and wow to your stitching. What a great result you acheived here. Thanks so much for sharing at JUGS this week.
Thanks Ina. I enjoy stitching and am always glad when I can combine it with card making.
