January Challenge with Peace On Earth has a very whimsical mood board. I decided to take a twist on Santa holding the snow globe by stamping Santa in the snow globe.
Using Melanie Muenchinger’s GKD Holiday Frame stamp set which was stamped on a patterned paper, I die cut the center. Stamping Rubber Stampede’s Santa Collage in kraft ink on white cardstock this became my flat shaker. What would a Santa be in a snow globe with not shaker stuff? Popped up the sentiment because it didn’t stamp properly after assembly completes this card.
I received a snow globe from Chase & Brooke for Christmas and someone, I’m not asking, over wound the music on the shaker and it almost took my finger off when turny thingy released some of the pressure. So this card may be for one of them next year. LOL.

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. Take care and be safe.
Very pretty and fun snow globe, glad you were able to ‘fix’ your real one!! Thank you for joining our challenge at Peace On Earth!

Thanks for another great challenge, Diane.
This is so creative! That frame stamp worked great for creating your snow globe, and I love that you made it into a shaker as well! Who would have thought that snow globes could be so dangerous – lol!!
LOL…that turnie key took half of my fingernail off when it released. Thanks for stopping in to comment. I appreciate it.
Lovely snow globe! Great save on your real one.
Thanks, Lisa, shakers are always a challenge for me.
These are the moments that long memories are created. Even taking them to the next Christmas.
Thanks Bonnie,
Beautiful card. Love that Santa. Glad you were able to save your real snowglobe
Thanks, Judy, that Santa stamp is one of my favorites. I tried white embossing it on red but it lost a lot of detail so kept him stamped in kraft for a little more vintage look.
Well for someone who says they don’t do good shakers, you just called yourself a liar, lol. This is great and using that older stamp was a good idea. I like the design and chuckled at your finger mishap with the real mckoy.
LOL…my cardstock was a little bumpy since it was just patterened paper and I think I do better with flat shakers. The real snow globe still doesn’t wind but it’s pretty to look at.
Oh Gayle this is FABULOUS … I love it! The Santa in the snowglobe is perfect! Don’t you hate it when someone messes with your musical thingies! LOL Glad it released but sorry about your finger (been there done that … hurts like the dickens!). Anyways … Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Peace On Earth Christmas challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often. We appreciate your support on our new challenge adventure!!

What a fun card! I think shaker cards are wonderful. Yikes about the turner, but what a way to give joy when you get pain.
