My card today was one of my Christmas card designs that I took inspiration from our Stamp Buddy Lisa B and decided to enter it into the Double D Christmas JOY challenge. The challenge requires that the word JOY must be on your card project. I did a wood graining technique using some white, blue and browns inks after scoring my lines then popping it up on a layering colored cardstock. The die cut the sentiment from Spellbinders and the beautiful Memory Box Drop Nativity and Gilded Drop dies layered together complete this card.
The Double D mood board is below.

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. Take care and be safe.
What a joyful scene. Your wood turned out beautiful as did your inlay.
Gayle, this is stunning!
Gorgeous! At first I thought is was the one on my shelf, but see it is different. Love the nativity that you used.
Great card. Love the bauble with the Nativity scene. The wood background is perfect.
Your wood grained panel looks amazing! Your nativity die cut is gorgeous and looks great on your background, and I love the soothing tones you used. So pretty!!
As soon as I saw this I thought Lisa had been the inspiration behind it. I love your take and the bauble is perfect. Great choice of soft colours and the wood grain is lovely too.
Your wood panel background is fabulous and it’s perfect with the blue and white of your ornament and sentiment.
Simply BEAUTIFUL Gayle! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘JOY’ challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.
