Using Taylored Expressions Trendy Tree Farm background stamp, stencil and die to make today’s card and sharing it with the Double D Challenge with a theme of Trees.
This was such a fun set with which to make cards. The sentiment is also a Taylored Expressions’ Joyful Season stamp and die combo. Love the combination of stamps, dies and stencils.
The sentiment was layered on a vellum die cut circle. A few little stars for some of the trees completes this card.

Most of the leaves in our neighborhood have passed their peak and fallen to the ground. We only have leaf collection for another two weeks so hopefully they will all drop in time for those collections. There was a hint of snow this morning just enough to add a little glisten to our newly “painted” zoysia grass. LOL….our new Thanksgiving tradition will be painting the straw like zoysia grass with green lawn paint. It keeps hubby happy and that’s all that matters.
Thanks for stopping in for a peek. Putting the finishing touches on my Christmas cards and hoping to mail no later than December 1st. Take card and be safe.
Trendy indeed. I really like this!!! Your creative juices were flowing on this one.
Thanks, so much Gerry, I had so much fun with this set!
Love this too. The trees, the stars and especially the sentiment lifted on vellum. What fun!
Thanks, Bonnie, I really enjoyed playing with this set. And of course, i made lots of different colors too.
I love this card. It is colourful and perfect for the challenge. Great use of Vellum – sentiment is there but background still visible.
Thanks, Johanna, this was so much fun and easy to use the stencils to ink in those trees. I was able to find vellum at my Michaels and it’s even nice to emboss.
So cute and festive!
So cute! Love those kind of combinations with the stamps, stencils, and dies. It makes creating so much fun.
I, too, enjoy the matchy matchy of stamps, stencils and dies. Makes it easier for me as my coloring skills are not that great. Thanks for commenting.
Your card is great! That pierced edge is such a pretty touch. I’m liking your Thanksgiving tradition, as well. My husband would be thrilled if our lawn was green all the time.
Zoysia grass would love Arizona weather. It thrives in the heat but turns to straw when the first frost sets in. My hubby too wants green grass year round. It was a fun day for us. Thanks for commenting.
This is AWESOME! Love your color scheme and having your sentiment on the vellum was a great idea so you could still see through to the beautiful background! Well done! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘Trees’ challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.
