MSC Flowers Hope

I enjoy slimline cards and the Mod Squad Challenge made this easy with the Slim is IN challenge.

https://modsquadchallenge.com/slim-is-in/

This card uses Gina K Designs stamps and inks. I used Painted Autumn stamp set for the flowers and leaves and Hopeful Flowers set for the greeting. The ink colors used are Fresh Asparagus, Lovely Lavendar, Wild Lilac, Edible Eggplant.

This card will be posted on Split Coast Faith Based Challenge on Tuesday, Sept. 7, as an encouragement card.

I enjoyed pulling out my stamps that have not seen ink in a long time. I have enjoyed this set since purchased in 2016. I used Melanie Muechinger’s blog post where I found a similar layout and her date was 2016. Thanks for an enjoyable challenge!

  1. Beautiful card. I love the flowers in purple. I never had much luck layering those flowers, but you nailed it.

    1. Thanks! It took a while to get those lined up. I think they are forgiving, though. I will have to use them more as I forgot how pretty they can be.

  2. Absolutely beautiful Lisa. I always say you can’t go wrong with purple and this is a perfect design for a slimline.

    1. Thank you! It has been a long time since I stamped the flowers and I enjoyed creating with them again. I love the purple also.

  3. This is lovely Lisa. The colours especially as you know purple is my favourite colour, and your colouring is perfection.

  4. This is just beautiful. I love your colors and you have used those stamps perfectly. Wonderful work here, and a great take on the challenge. Thanks so much for playing along with us this time over at The Mod Squad. Hope we see you back here again soon.
