A girlfriend’s grandson just passed his driving test and is hitting the road so i decided to send this card to him as well as play along with The Paper Players masculine clean and simple week challenge. I think I got the masculine correct with this sports card however if you take away the layers to create the car it would be clean and simple 🙂
I pulled out my Spellbinders’ Sunday drive die set to create my car, then stenciled Tim Holtz Hocus Pocus layering stencil onto the background adding a little more ink blending to it. The stamp in the trunk is GKD’s Party On and the message bubble is also a GKD stamp set “Let’s Talk”.
Hopefully the young driver will pay attention to the road and concentrate on his driving as much as I needed to concentrate making his car.
Thanks for stopping in for a peek. Have a great day.
Such a fun card to celebrate his milestone!
Cute card. I’m sure he’ll enjoy receiving it.
Very cute! He will love it!
What a fun card and it works for the challenge even if the car has layers. He’ll be tickled pink opening up this one.
What a fun car! All the layers make it amazing. The stars is a great background for it.
Beautiful coloring and a great layout. Thank you for joining us at the Paper Players this week/
LOL, what a fun way to say CONGRATS on that big milestone in a teenager’s life! Super cool card, he’ll love it! Great job on our Paper Players challenge this week!
