I am sharing my card for the Challenge Your Stash group at Splitcoast Stampers. I will also enter this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.

The background is watercolor with pigment powders from Stampin Up. I used Bristol Smooth paper for all of the watercolor pieces. The gold die cuts are using MFT Floral Focus Card kit dies. I found the best way to cut these dies is with the die face up and add waxed paper between the die and paper. The theme for the Challenge Your Stash is watercolor, so I used watercolor pieces from my stash.
Great card. Your die cuts are beautiful. Glad you were finally able to make it work.
Thank you! I was thrilled when they finally looked good.
Talk about eye candy. Success is so very sweet.
Thank you! I am pleased with this card.
Gorgeous background created for those pesky dies, Lisa. Your determination with those dies was worth it with such a gorgeous end result.
Thank you! I like your description of pesky.
You did a fantastic job on this card Lisa and I’m glad you finally got the right combo for using the dies. I have trouble sometimes and my plates always end up with a bubble in the middle making them virtually useless.
Thank you! I kept bending the metal plate back straight as it was getting quite warped. Not sure what that meant as it wasn’t being helpful. I am not sure if I will use the gold foil again, but it is pretty when it cuts well.
This is stunning! Glad the waxed paper worked!
Thanks! I am so thankful for the tips all of you kept giving me to try.
This is amazing. The die cuts are gorgeous. Sorry you had to go through all the frustrations with the dies.
Your water color piece is gorgeous and perfect with the gold on your die cuts. This is a great card!
Thank you!
