Easter Tulips

I am making Easter cards and pulled out a favorite set called Easter Blessings, 2015, by Stampin’ Up, retired several years ago. The greeting is from Joy Clair, Easter Greetings, 2019, also retired.

I used the colors Gina K Designs Sweet Corn for SU So Saffron, and SU Mango Melody and Pear Pizzazz for the tulips and scalloped cardstock layer. I chose to watercolor these flowers.

    1. Thanks! This is the first time I stamped more than one set of tulips. The watercoloring was iffy so I kept adding more color with either the ink pad or marker. I love the final product.

    1. Thank you! I love these tulips and this is a first with the watercolor and so many. I do like the card.

  1. Very pretty. Your water coloring of the tulips is beautiful. Like Judy said, tulips just sing of spring and Easter.

  2. This is lovely! The tulip image is pretty by itself, but the way you’ve shaded the colouring really lifts it. The scallop-edge frame works well too. Thanks for joining in with us again at As You See It Challenge.

    1. Thanks! I enjoyed both challenges and it is the perfect time of year to get those Easter and Spring cards ready to send.

  3. Lovely colours, Lisa and that scalloped edging really sets it off nicely! Thanks for joining our Theme Challenge at As You See It Challenges.

  4. How pretty your tulips are Lisa! I love the way you coloured them in ombré style. Thank you for coming to play with us at CAS Colours and Sketches this week. Vicky x
