I usually have trouble with a Tic Tac Toe challenge – the squares I can do are usually not in a line. The one at Retro Rubber Challenge just seemed to fall in place for me. The birthday sentiment from the Bold and Blooming kit by Gina K Designs released February 2017, is stamped in Wild Lilac on Lovely Lavender card stock. The pattern paper from the Secret Garden collection by Graphic 45 is from several years ago. The strip across the middle is Wild Lilac. The gems are by Pawsitively Pawsome.
Very pretty card – love the colors you used!
Thanks Diana.
Pretty card! Glad you worked it out and the tic-tac-toe worked well.
Looks like your patterned paper matches perfectly with your color scheme. Your horizontal strip of cardstock plays off the patterned paper stripes perfectly. Definitely a winning tic tac toe card.
Your pp creates the mood and your other elements follow through. Great idea to stamp the sentiment in one of your shade of purple.
This is a lovely card Judy. I like your color choice and the pretty bling. I agree with Gayle about the horizontal strip being just right.
Very pretty. Love the warm colors. I agree with Gayle & Golda about the horizontal strip.
This is a great way to highlight beautiful patterned paper. I love your layout. So pretty!!
Thanks Lisa. I’m trying to use more pattern paper in my designs.
I love your choice of pattern papers for this card, they are so beautiful and the colors so soft.
The detail of the gems is perfect to add a little bling to your design.
Thank you for sharing with us at RETRO RUBBER.

I love the sweet patterns and colors you used for this…very cottage chic! So happy you shared this with us at Retro Rubber this week!
A good choice of PP and colours here. I love the softness of it and having your sentiment as the main focus is great.
Thank you. I do like to let the large sentiments take the center stage with just a bit of PP or embellishments.
