February Sheetload of Cards

I have been watching Crafty Al and trying her Sheetload of Cards sketch and cutting layout for February. This month, I used both a 6 X 6 pad and 12 X 12 inch papers. Get comfortable as there are many cards with the sketch or a variation of it.

The above card was created with Carta Bella Home Again 6 X 6 pack of patterned paper. I did not own matching cardstock, so I used the back side of one of the patterns for the base layer. This card was mailed immediately after making it a few weeks ago.

The above card and all following use the Home Again 12 X 12 scrapbook paper with stickers pack. The cardstock colors are Islands Indigo and Blue Lagoon from Stampin Up retired. The ribbon matches, Blue Lagoon. The banners are embossed with one of the Greenery embossing folders from SU; it is a set of 2 folders. The greetings are all from Gina K Designs sets. Some of the cards have smaller print patterns and those are from the 6 X 6 pad.

That is the many cards I created. It is a fast process when the paper is all cut and ready to assemble. I changed some of the paper after being cut. One of the choices was a bit too dark, so I was swapping out a piece here and there. Overall I enjoyed creating the cards this way. Because I kept changing my mind, they are all different. The insides have a white layer with a strip of cardstock. Some have stickers for embellishment. All have room to write a message.

  1. Beautiful cards. This is a great way to create a lot of cards quickly once the prep work is done and how great to be able to add so many to your stash.

    1. Thank you! I did like changing them a bit as it kept needing something. I enjoyed the process and may try another with different paper. I have a lot of 6 X 6 papers needing attention.

  2. Oh my goodness! you have been one busy lady. These are all so beautiful and I love the colors and pp’s. Having everything cut and ready does make it easier & faster but sometimes you just can’t help changing your mind.

    1. Thanks! These have been done for several days and well over a week. It just too me quite a while to get photos taken and we had a lot of dreary days when I was completing these.

  3. These are great, Lisa. I have the February Sheetload of Cards instructions printed and waiting for me. I love your choices of patterned papers and the way your switched some of the design and papers, too. These are great layouts for a stash and mass producing.

    1. Thanks! I wanted to try the 12 X 12, so I ordered it to match my 6 X 6. I think it can work. I do change my mind wanting the smaller print. It was fun to give a try.

  4. Wow! You got a whole lot of cards made and they are all great. I have to say, the paper with the vehicle on it made me laugh, as I wasn’t expecting it with the florals, but it works perfectly. Great job on these.

  5. What a lovely collection of cards you have made. I like how you changed things up a bit here and there. Good choices of pp and colour. Must try something like this myself as a small collection like these make a great hostess gift.
