Hello on a very cold night in Pennsylvania. I was taking a break from challenges while I worked on Easter Cards for the Making Cards for Troops organization. I prepared and sent off 80 Easter cards. My small way to say thank you for your service. Normally my group of girlfriends would assemble the cards but we are still social distancing due to Covid concerns. My card today is for the Dies R Us Challenge #161 Challenge which is Anything Goes and including a metal die from a company sold in their store.
I used the Art Impressions Double Stitched die, Hero Arts Stamp & Cut Ribbon message set, Spellbinders Rectangle Nestabilities to create the template for my colored blocks.
The challenge for Double D Challenges is Flowers in Containers so my flowers are a silhouette image from Gina K Designs Stenciled Spring stamp set. GKD inks in Applemint, Wild Dandelion, Sea Glass and SSS Orange Peel inks as well as Versafine Black Onxy to stamp the silhouette image.

Here are my Easter cards for Making Cards for Troops organization:

Thanks for looking.
Lovely card, especially for a sympathy card. I love the colors. So thrilled to see all of the cards you created for the troops. They will be loved and well worth our time and energy.
Thanks so much Lisa. I’m glad you like the sympathy. I’m always wonder if I can do a bright color but the message is still there. It’s a great cause and I’m trying to get into the habit of making multiple cards one for me and one or two for the troops.
What a lovely sympathy card. I really like the design and the colors you chose. What a great project making Easter cards for the troops. They are wonderful.
You really brought your A game to this one. Love the color blocking. Oh how those Easter cards look so perfect.
Before I saw Judy’s comment I thought ‘what a lovely sympathy card’. This will surely bring comfort.
WOW koodo’s for doing so many cards for our troops!! Well done!! Your card today is so much fun! LOVE that background and the silhouette really pops! Again … well done! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘Flowers in Containers’ challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

Thanks for commenting, Kathy, and a fun challenge.
This is beautiful! I love the cheerful colors, even though its a sympathy card. Very striking! Thanks for linking up at Dies R Us Challenges. Julie, DT member
Gorgeous sympathy card and an impressive collection of Easter cards for our troops. Stay warm!
Gayle, those are beautiful Easter cards and will be very much appreciated by the troops! I love your card that you made for the challenge, as well. The sentiment banner overlapping the edges of the stitched rectangles is such a nice touch. I really like your overlapping inked rectangles on the background, as well. This is a wonderful sympathy card.
The colour blocks are lovely and the added stamping is great too. What a lot of work you have done for the troops at Easter. time is flying and I haven’t given Easter a thought yet.
