The November Monthly Mix Challenge hosted by Arjita is to create a card that is Red and White and includes a tag! The challenge at the ModSquad Challenge hosted by Judy is “So Grateful” and you must use the word GRATEFUL.
My card uses the negative GKD FoilMates Swirls & Flourishes foiled panel adhered to a white cardstock layer. The tag was created using Gina’s ThermoWeb Decorative Tag Set and was stamped with a flower and sentiment from GKD’s A Happy Hello which includes GRATEFUL in the sentiment. A few of Gina’s sequins and it really needed some green leaves to complete this look.
Very pretty! Love the red. The dual tag looks super.
WOW! Beautiful card! Love the foil!
Absolutely adore this card. It is so festive looking and you did a beautiful job on the tags.
Thanks, Johanna, I’m normally not a fan of tags on cards but think that the negative foil helped.
Great card. The negative of the foil makes a wonderful background.
I am not usually one to go for the tags but with your negative bg and use of space, these two rock.
Thanks Bonnie. I’m not a fan of tags on cards either but I did save the negative foils from my last cards for troops project. LOL…Yes I do save some things and sometimes can find them too!
Beautiful!! Your foiled background looks great!! Love your layered tags and that soft ribbon as well.
Thanks Lisa I was glad that I save that negative piece.
Oh WOW, another gorgeous card. That foiled background is beautiful.
You certainly nailed this challenge! This is gorgeous! What a great way to use your negative foil.
LOVE what you have done with that foil. It’s just beautiful, and perfect on this card. Great take on the challenge, thank you so much for participating this week at the Mod Squad Challenge
