I thought was finished sending out my Back To School cards when the Dies R Us Challenge # 152 was posted with that theme and to include a metal die. This card is for a girlfriend who has taken on the almost impossible task of learn at home schooling for 3 grandchildren in grades 1 and 2. Of course if that isn’t enough to handle she also babysits for her other grandchildren….an infant and 1 year old. Whew!!
I decided to do rainbow stripes and die cut the letters from Concord & 9th’s Double-Cut Alphabet Dies. The apple (for the teacher) and die is a love Nicole stamp set. Finished the card off with some wink of stella to put a lot of sparkle on this card for Ms. Grammy.

love this
Thanks so much for commenting and stopping by!
Perfect card! I home educated for many years. She can do it! There are many resources available.
Thanks, Lisa, I’ll give her your words of encouragement.
Nice card and that would be a triple “Whew” for me – and don’t think I could do it!
Thanks, Diana, I know I couldn’t do it. I’d rather just be fun grandmother!
Such an interesting time for her. You are quite the pal. This will help.
Whew, how about it Bonnie, She definitely has a full house and hopefully this will bring a smile to her.
Such a colorful and encouraging card! I’m sure your friend will love it.
Thanks, Lisa, I’m hoping this will bring a smile to her.
What a great colorful, encouraging card. Your friend will love it. I agree with Diana about a triple “WHEW”.
I agree, Gerry, don’t know where she’s getting the strength with 5 grandkids…definitely grandmother love but after 4 days she’s pulling her hair out.
Wow! Your friend has really stepped up and taken on a huge load. Hopefully it all goes well for her. I’m sure your wonderful card will help encourage her to keep going.
What a sweet inspiration card to lift your friend up! God bless her for her devotion and dedication to her grand kids. You’re a dear friend for encouraging and supporting your friend in such a way. Thanks for joining the DRU challenge this week. Best of luck to you!
Fabulously bright and fun encouragement card. I don’t envy her at all. I definitely couldn’t do home schooling for anyone no matter how much I may love them. My hubby could though.
