Happy 65th

The Sisterhood of Crafters

My card today is a Double Easel Fold card that I found on Pinterest and should fit the The Sisterhood of Crafters Happy Birthday or Fun Fold or Both challenge. For a fun fold card this came together quite easily for me. The stamped image is a SU Giggle Greetings, my background was created using Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powders, and the following dies were used: Sizzix Tim Holtz Celebrate, GKD’s Large Single Stitch circle die, Spellbinders Classic Circle die, Mementa number dies, PoppyStamps Pinpoint Balloons dies.

Hubby’s birthday is next weekend and we will still be on Stay At Home orders in Pennsylvania but we will celebrate his 65th birthday and “welcome” to Medicare health insurance. Will takes great pride that he doesn’t cook so I’m thinking that the ‘cheese’ cake will hit home that point! So happy to be celebrating him and 65!!

Thanks for looking and tomorrow is Saturday!

  1. This is AWESOME! My hubby’s birthday (in Ohio) is tomorrow and I’ve been struggling with what kind of card to make him and you have just saved the day! I have a couple new step card dies so one of those will work nicely … thanks for inspiration and Happy 65th to your hubby. Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Sisterhood of Crafters challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

  2. What a great birthday card for Will. He will love I’m sure. Fun fold and lots of shimmer go well together.

    1. Thanks, Johanna, I was thinking of putting a pretzel image inside because Will would think cheese and pretzels is a good thing to eat…LOL I appreciate your support.

    1. LOL, Gerry, I know what you mean about medicare! I’ll be on the phone with the marketplace on the 30th cancelling his medical coverage.
