AAA Cards CAS Game #162
My card today will be entered into the Sunday Stamps SSC227 Spring Fever color challenge. The three colors I chose from graphic are hopefully close to the challenge colors. My base card and focal image layer are my “crumb cake” color, the stencil was sponged in SSS Orange Peel for the bright orange color on the graphic and the dark color is a GKD navy.
The requirements for AAA Cards clean and simple challenge #162 was to be made in minutes with an optional twist of using a stencil. For some reason it takes longer to find all of the items for a project than to create. This did come together very quickly and the stencil is a SSS stencil. The stamp sets were both SU’s Crosses of Hope and Miracle of Spring. It was quite a miracle that I eye-balled that sentiment that it fit perfectly in the space. That does not happen all too often in my case.

Thanks for looking. Stay Safe. Stay Home.
Oh there is nothing wrong with your eyeballing. You have gotten quite good at fitting and keeping straight. Love this look. Sometimes the challenge changes our projects into not quite what we would hope for but yours is just right and so spring-esk.
Thanks, Bonnie, I shocked myself that I didn’t mess up with the sentiment. LOL
Beautiful card!
Hugs and thanks.
You used the challenge colors beautifully. Great layout for your CAS design.
Thanks, Lisa, I appreciate your comments.
Such a pretty card! I love the cross with the stencil.
Thanks, Lisa, that SU set really had pretty cross stamps.
This is so pretty and definitely spring like. Great eyeballing – you do it better than you think. Good take on both challenges.
Thanks, Johanna, I definitely held my breath when I lifted the stamp.
This is gorgeous! The beautiful golden leaves behind the cross are stunning! Thank you so much for joining us at AAA Cards and please join us again!
Thank you so much for a great challenge and for commenting.
A perfect Easter Card using the color challenge. Love your sponged on leaves with the cross. Thanks so much for joining us at Sunday Stamps! 🙂
Very pretty, Gayle, love the sponged leaves – so bright and cheery! Great color combo! Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!
Oh, I love this one!
Beautiful card Gayle, love your stenciling! I know what you mean about it taking longer to organise all the supplies rather than make the card! Thanks for joining us at AAA Cards.
Great design. Love that leafy stencil up in the corner. Thanks for playing at AAA Cards, hope to see you join in with future challenges too. Keep safe, stay home and craft instead!
