The challenge at Just Add Ink is to include something that begins with the letter E. An Easter card seemed the obvious way to get in that E. I started with a piece of Lemon Drop CS and using the Sunburst Stencil, I sponged on Sweet Mango ink. Next I placed my panel in my MISTI (without the mousepad) and stamped “The Old Rugged Cross” background stamp in Warm Glow ink for a very subtle background. On a piece of White CS I stamped the cross from Easter Wishes in Warm Cocoa ink and colored with Copics: E23 and E25. The drape was colored with BV00 and BV01, then I stamped the sentiment in Obsidian. I stamped the Easter Lilies in Obsidian and colored with YG01, YG03, C00 and C01, the fussy cut the cross and the flowers. The lilies were a bit of a challenge to cut, but I wanted something at the base of the cross.

This is beautiful Judy. I love everything about it. The subtle background the fussy cutting – well done with that – and the colours all are lovely. A good take on the challenge.
Thanks Johanna. I’m pleased with the way it turned out.
What a gorgeous seen. The lilies were worth the trouble.
Thanks Bonnie. The lilies indeed worth the trouble and the little white spots that I missed don’t show as bad as I thought they would.
Beautiful! Love the lilies at the base of the cross.
Thanks Lisa. I really like the addition of the lilies.
Beautiful!
Thanks Diana. I’m glad to see you up to commenting. Hope you’re doing OK.
Judy, this is lovely. I really like “The Old Rugged Cross” background. Where did that come from? Great job on this.
Thanks Golda. “The Old Rugged Cross” is by Divinity Designs, formerly Our Daily Bread Designs. They have some really nice religious images.
Beautiful Judy. I should just leave it with that! Hope and faith is with us and your card portrays that perfectly.
I like the background stamp – it’s perfect for this Easter card. The lilies must have taken some time to cut out. Chantell Just Add Ink
Beautiful, Judy. A perfect creation for our Just Add “E” JAI Challenge, and I love your fussy cutting. D x
