This week’s ModSquad Challenge is to use neon or bright colors. I opted to go with bright colors as I do not have any neon stamp pads so using the stamps and dies from Gina K Designs’ Bold & Blooming stamp set I created my bright pink or maybe I should say shocking pink flowers. The cardstock is GKD and I believe it was from one of those variety packs maybe carnival??? and the patterned paper is The Paper Studio’s Uptown Flair glitter paper pack. I stamped the flowers in versamark and heat embossed three of them in GKD clear embossing powder and two in GKD fine detail white embossing powder then die cut. My frame was cut using Waffle Flowers A2 dies.
It is Neon to my eyes. Gorgeous mix of colours here and a big wow factor too.
Thanks, Johanna, it really is pretty striking. This morning I found I lime green leaves that I stamped and die cut on my desk…they were the perfect match for the green. I’ll be adding them to the card.
Good idea – they can only add a bit more pizzaz
Great card! Very bright.
Thanks, Lisa, it is very bright isn’t it
Love how you layered this one up especially with the colors.
Thanks, Bonnie, the patterned paper pack was very helpful.
Gayle, this is definitely bright! Beautiful, too. I really like your sentiment frame with the flowers on the corners. Great work on this.
