My card today will be entered into two challenges: The Color Challenge hosted by Laurie at The Paper Players using SU’s Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Calypso Coral. I inked my background lightly in the following GKD colors Coral Reef, Ocean Mist and Tranquil Teal then placed the GKD art stencil over the background and inked the same colors adding a darker shade. I die cut SSS Dahlia Stem from the background, layered it several times and popped the silhouette back into the die cut space. Sentiment is from GKD’s Stippled Flowers. The challenge for Just Us Girls is “Heal” for Sue’s Word Week Challenge.

Your colors are perfect. I was not sure if Ocean Mist or Powder Blue, so you have given me the answer.
So beautiful! Love the soothing colors.
Yep, I agree with Bonnie, colours are perfect. I think this card has a healing vibe even without your sentiment.
Beautiful! One of my favorite sentiments.
I also agree with Bonnie, love that background. And I agree with Johanna about the healing vibe.
Lovely card, Gayle – the stenciling is just perfectly done!! Will be perfect to bring cheer and a smile to someone under the weather. Thanks for sharing it with us at the Players this week!
Beautiful stenciling on this! I really like that die cut flower and the way you stacked it and then inlaid it back in place. Thanks for playing along with us at JUGS!
Gayle, this is gorgeous! Great creative design. I love how you did the flower.
So pretty! Your background is amazing, but the diecut steals the show! Thanks for playing with the Players this week!
Such a beautifully artistic card Gayle! I love the background – it reminds me of the patterns you get in a pool! Vicky x
