One of my (few) New Year’s Resolutions is to enter more challenges. So here I go! I started this for the Mod Squad Challenge to create your own pattern paper, then realized it would fit some other challenges as well. The pattern paper was created using “Let It Snow” by Theresa Momber and “Sparkling Snowflakes” both by Gina K. Designs. The snowflakes were stamped in VersaMark, then embossed with GKD Detailed Silver EP on Powder Blue CS. The sentiment is a combination – “Warm Winter” is from “Let It Snow” (I masked off “wishes”). Birthday is from Massive Messages (I trimmed off Wishes). “Wishes” is a die from a new set (to me) called “Wishes”. I cut Wishes three times for dimension (twice in Blue Denim, once in white colored with Copic B39). The mat for the sentiment panel and card base are Blue Denim. This is for the following challenges:
Mod Squad (Make Your Own Pattern Paper)
Die-Cut Divas Use Something New
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge Use Something New
Krafty Chicks Stamp Act
JUGS Word Week #517 – Snowflakes
What a way to kick butt and take names. Perfect card for all these challenges.
Thanks Bonnie. I was pretty excited when I realized I could enter so many challenges with just one card – that usually doesn’t happen for me.
Beautiful card! Love the layers!
Thanks Diana. It was fun to get in my stamp room even for just a little while.
Judy, this is an awesome card. I love your snowflake background you created for your patterned paper. The combination of stamped and die cut sentiment along with the blues is a perfect combo.
Thanks Gayle. I thought the blue and silver gave a frosty look.
Wow – getting all those entries out of such a beautiful card is really fantastic. I love the design and how you changed your sentiment so creatively.
Thanks Johanna. With all the stamps I’ve got, sometimes I just can’t find the right sentiment.
Super job! It’s neat that you found so many challenges.
Great job on this, Judy! Congrats on so many challenges at once, too. Have fun with the challenges, don’t let them overwhelm you.
Thanks Golda. I make cards for the fun of it and if what I make works for a challenge that’s great. Although i felt a bit of pressure when I was trying to enter the weekly challenge at STV, at least I was getting a card made each week.
Beautiful card with amazing creativity for the sentiment. You go girl
I really like Gina K Designs and this card is so pretty, looks like that out my window right now…snowing. Thanks for playing our challenge at Krafty Chicks.

I love the idea of a “warm Winter” wish for a birthday. Wonderful card. So glad you joined us at Die Cut Divas for our January challenge of something new.
