My card today is for the As You See It Challenge “Circular Argument” sketch challenge. My main circle comes from SimonSaysStamp’s Holly & Pine Frame die, the second circle contains a GKD sentiment from Holiday Greetings and was punched with the SU circle and scallop punches, then to add a little extra to the sentiment circle I punched some branches using the Martha Stewart punch, layered it on two different patterned papers from CraftSmart paper pack (from Michael’s), added a few self adhesive gems and finally attached to a GKD Cranberry Tart card base.
I stepped outside with the non- traditional colors and hopefully it works. Thanks for looking.
You did a great job! It fits the sketch perfectly.
Thanks, Lisa, I wanted to try this die from SSS and was hoping it would work with the sketch.
I agree with Lisa – it is a great take on the challenge and pretty to look at. I like the 2 pp’s you used.
Thanks, Johanna, I picked up patterned paper packs at my local Michael’s (not that I need anymore). It was a sale I couldn’t resist buy 1 get 2 free. I like the pink with the cranberry tart.
Oh so many perfect touches. The pp sets the tone but the punches and gems do a great second act.
Thanks so much Bonnie. I was hoping it would all come together. I searched for days on that middle SU punch and finally found it on the floor behind some boxes.
Lovely. I really like your take on the sketch.
Thanks so much for your kind words and support, Judy.
Very pretty!
Thanks Diana. I appreciate you stopping by.
That pretty die is a great way to interpret the large circle in the sketch. If I had that die, I’d want to show it off all the Time! The stars in the background give a subtle bit of bling to the design and add to the Christmas flavour. Thanks for joining in with us again at As You See It Challenge.
Thanks so much for another fun challenge, Jan, as well as your kinds words of support.
You hit the WOW factor on this one. Love the colors, pp’s and holly & pine die.
You are so sweet, Gerry, thanks so much for your support.
Oh, what a fun one! I love how your two different backgrounds are both perfect and compliment one another and the wreath just highlights them.
That die cut wreath is the star of the show, even though the stars in the background are trying to get in their say, they are being out shone! This is a cute take on the sketch and thank you for playing along with As You See It Challenges!
Thanks so much for a fun challenge and taking time to comment. I appreciate it.
Your holly wreath works perfectly for the large circle of the sketch and I really like your fresh, non-traditional festive colour scheme. Thanks for playing along with our current challenge over at As You See It!
