I created today’s card for the Monthly Mix Challenge at StampTV to create a Vintage Floral creation. I used the Through Thick & Thin flower stamps from GKD to stamps the background and heat emboss in clear embossing powder. The main image is also from GKD and is the Inspiring Poppies stamp set which was also clear embossed and then colored in using Chameleon Color tone pencils in white and then adding a little pink and green. The sentiment is from the GKD Hello Sunshine stamptv kit. Added a little bit of lace and hope this is considered vintage.
This card will be entered into: https://www.ginakdesigns.com/2019/06/01/june-2019-monthly-mix-challenge/ hosted by Arjita.
Beautiful! Wonderful card, Gayle!
Thanks, Jan, I wasn’t quite sure if it fit the vintage description but I liked the way it turned out.
Your heat embossing was the perfect touch for this layout. Gorgeous.
Thanks, Bonnie, I was hoping the clear embossing would be more subtle and then I notice my bottom left corner…..I think my layer may have shifted in the misti when I double stamped. Other than that I liked the way it turned out.
Gayle, this is lovely.
Thanks Golda for your support.
Beautiful! The lace is perfect!
Thanks, Diana, I was hoping the lace made it look more vintage-like…Lol. I appreciate you stopping by and commenting.
Another beauty! I think the lace is the perfect touch.
Beautiful Gayle!! I agree with Lisa, the lace is the perfect touch.
Thanks, Gerry, I wasn’t sure if it was really fitting the vintage category so I decided to add the lace just in case….LOL…thanks for stopping by.
Love this and chuckled when you comment on the misti and the CS moving. That often happens to me too. I think I may tape my CS down in future, maybe that would work for both of us. Great colour choices and I think it fits vintage, the lace really makes it work.
