I was inspired by Stamp Buddies Lisa and her beautiful hot air balloon cards so I pulled out an older Serendipity Stamps Hot Air Balloons reverse die. I created a background with distress inks then on a plain white piece of cardstock I embossed the die using my Big Shot. I then ran the sponged background through my Big Shot cutting out the die. Very carefully I placed all of die cut pieces on the embossed white card and glued them in place and addded some red glitter paper behind the die cut version. Serendipity Stamps in now owned by Impression Obsession according to the website.
So two cards — one for our son and the other for our son-in-law.
These are awesome! Love the balloons! Hugs!
Thanks, Diana, it really is an awesome die that not much more is needed.
I love these! Glad I was able to inspire you to pull out your balloons. These men in your life will LOVE these, or their wives will for sure.
I know what you mean Lisa that guys usually don’t ooh and aah over my cards but I’m hoping they will like them. Thanks for the inspiration.
Gayle, those are both beautiful! So nice to be able to only do a little extra work and have twice the end results.
Thanks, Golda, it wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. I appreciate your support.
Up up and away. These are so fun.
Thanks, Bonnie, I was happy on the outcome.
These are really great cards Gayle. I know guys are bit backward about saying they like something at times but I’m sure they will really enjoy receiving these.
Awesome! Love them both!!
