I am playing along with two challenges at Split Coast Stampers. One is the Teapot Challenge which comes out on Tuesdays. This week’s challenge is to create a birthday card for a WWII Veteran who will be turning 93 in April. They challenged each person to use red, white, and blue. I used this week’s sketch in creating this card.
Details: GKD cardstock in Kraft, Blue Denim, Red Hot, and Layering Weight White. Fiskars star punch. Sizzix drop-in Happy Birthday die. SU Lucky Stars embossing folder.
I enjoyed making this card. I will place it in the mail tomorrow.
Especially at 93 he is going to enjoy all his birthday wishes.Your are the best to remember him Lisa.
Thank you, Bonnie. The card is in the mail.
This is great! I love the layout you used, as it reminds me of a rippling flag.
