I have been seeing Double Dutch Fold cards in several places recently and wanted to give it a try. I used a tutorial from Split Coast Stampers along with a blog post and You Tube videos.
Details: SU Blessed Easter for tulip image, colored with Spectrum Noir blender markers. The ovals were cut with Gina K Designs/Thermoweb stitched oval dies along with one Spellbinders Nestability Oval die (the pink one). The cardstock is SU pink, retired. I used a Crafter’s Companion Sparkle pen to give the tulips a bit of sparkle.
The inside is stamp is Joy Clair Easter Greetings. The white cardstock is Crafter’s Companion, cut with a The Stamps of Life Stitched Rectangle die. I used Gina K Designs ink in colors Blue Lagoon, Bubblegum Pink, and Moonlit Fog. The black ink used is Memento Tuxedo Black. The patterned paper is Echo Park Easter Wishes.
This will be entered in Mod Squad Challenge: http://modsquadchallenge.com/one-or-more-die-cut/
This is so delightful. The effect you achieved with all those sources of supplies is spectacular. Someone is going to have a great spring.
Thank You! It is going to a person in Iowa. I am playing in a card swap of sorts.
Very lovely – I like the Double Dutch fold too! TFS at Mod Squad
This is beautiful! Great job with the fold.
Thank you! It was fun to try something totally new to me.
