This card was made and sent to a lady turning 106 years old. The person requesting the card said that the recipient had failing eye-sight, so large images and bright colors would help. I chose to use a bright purple card base and patterned paper in matching colors. I used butterflies from The Stamps of Life along with a sentiment from the same set. It is called butterfly2stamp and a couple of matching sets and dies. The flip-it die set is a 5 X 7 set from Sizzix. I cut a piece of white paper for the back to have an easy place to write a sentiment. I chose to stamp You are awesome, from Cas-ual Friday, This card was mailed earlier in the week to ensure that it would be delivered in time for her birthday.
She is gong to flip over this. And she has seen a few cards in her lifetime.
I can’t imagine how many cards she has seen in her lifetime. My guess is that she will be getting quite a few for her birthday. Thanks for the kind comment.
Super cute!!! Love it!!
Thank you! I love pulling out the dies and finding the elements from my stash or easy to make ones.
Lisa, you did a great job on it! I’m sure she’ll love it and be able to see all the different aspects of it.
