I love the tiny daffodil and clay pot from Window of Wishes by Theresa Momber for Gina K designs. Since the daffodil is flower for March, I thought it was perfect for the Flower Power challenge for March at Gina K. Designs.
I colored the flower and pot with Copics: Y08, Y18, YG01, YG05, E07, Colorless Blender. I cut the White Base Weight focal panel with Gina’s Double Stitch Rectangle. The mat is cut with the Single Stitch Rectangle in Grass Green. The lower panel is Tomato Soup embossed with the Cuttlebug Polka Dot Embossing Folder (5×7). Tip: Don’t use the purple tape to hold the side of the CS that will be face up. The card base is Sweet Corn. The tan was in my stash, cut with Alison’s Ribbon die. The sentiment from Autumn Wishes fit perfectly on the ribbon. On the inside I used a sentiment from Birthday Greetings.
Oh how delightful to use the flower of the month. Your shadowing on the pot is terrific. Well, everything is quite terrific.
Thanks Bonnie. I had a lot of fun doing the card. Glad you like it.
Beautiful card, Judy. Love your colouring and the layout is perfect! Not sure what happened there. That is my comment above LOL. Thought I was logged in and apparently I wasn’t.
I love your card! The daffodil is colored beautifully. Love the layout.
This is a darling card Judy. I like your design, colour choices and the stamp you used. Isn’t it great that we now have our very own blog page to leave comments on? So much easier than trying to post to Gina’s new site. I’ll be posting some cards soon, but am not quite ready to craft yet. Hopefully by Wednesday.
Lovely card! Great use of the stamp.
Whoever gets this card is a lucky friend. Your work is so bright and cheerful. Thanks for playing along at Gina K. Designs.
Such a lovely card. Your colors are perfect as is your potted daffodil.
