My inspiration is from Michele Boyer. She uses a lot of white space and often frames the images.

I have a card made with older supplies for the Retro Rubber Challenge.
I used Chubby Chums from Paper Smooches, which was released in 2013. I used the Sizzix Circle #2 Flip-it Die set, which I have had for at least three years. The patterned paper used is a pack from Hobby Lobby, sitting in my stash for at least 10 years. I pull it out when I need a baby card. I followed the first column on the tic-tac-toe grid: pastel colors, baby, die cut or punch.
This is my last card for the tree challenge. This one uses Lovely as a Tree by Stampin Up, with a greeting from Maymay Made it, From All of Us.
The greeting lends itself to be used for most all occasions. This seems like a masculine card to me, as it is mostly brown tones. The cardstock is Naturals White and Early Expresso from Stampin Up. The ink used is Memento Expresso Truffle. I even pulled out my Stamp-a-ma-jig as this set is on wood block. This was my one of my mother’s well loved sets. This is probably the second time I have pulled it out. I seek Split Coast Stampers for inspiration with this set as it has been available for 20 years.
Another tree card that was completed today. I am still using Thoughtful Branches and the greeting is from Autumn Wishes, by Gina K Designs. I had so much fun stamping the leaves in Autumn colors. I used Hero Arts and Lawn Fawn inks for the leaves and Memento ink for the branches and greeting. I am enjoying pulling out older sets to use along with the combination of inks and papers.
The cardstock used is Stampin Up Naturals White and Early Expresso. This will be entered in the As You See It Challenge.
I have been making tree cards today. Here is the first one:
I used SU Thoughtful Branches for the trees, ground, and birds. The sentiment came from The Stamps of Life, lights4Christmas set. I had to perform stamp surgery on the sentiment as I needed it stacked.

I used the Festive Frame and Noel stamp sets, both from Gina K Designs. This card is very sparkly as I sprayed gold sparkle to give it a extra shine. The flowers are watercolored on Ranger Watercolor Paper. I like all of the gold.

Basically, I covered a box, decorating it for a birthday. I used patterned paper, cardstock pieces, and a stamp set all from Gina K Designs. This is all from the Birthday Hoot set and matching papers.
You can see two of the sides that have added items. The other two sides have the ribbon and nothing else. I do not remember covering a box before, so this is new. Rather than do much to the box itself, I placed the decorations where it wouldn’t interfere with the lid closing. This was fun and different.

Basically I have the small bedroom in our house. I use this desk and move things in and out. It works for me.
I did complete a card on World Card Making Day. The stamp set used is Martha’s Flowers from Joy Clair.
I have used this maybe one time and had quite a few pieces ready to watercolor. I chose one and began coloring. I used Stampin Up watercolor pencils. This was the only card I created on World Card Making Day. It was enough for me.
