Love the ivory and brown with hints of other fall colors. We have been experiencing some nice cool mornings with higher temperature for the afternoon and it’s been an awesome weather pattern. Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and stay safe.

Get Ready

I have been enjoying my new supplies from Whimsy Stamps and my card today starts off with one of their backgrounds. I added a few Tim Holtz/Sizzix bats from Toil & Trouble die set, IO trick or treater die cut images and Gina K Designs sentiment from the Haunts and Harvest stamp set.

Sunflower Hello

One more sunflower make from the SimonSaysStamp Sunflower Fields stamp, stencil and die set. This time, I repeat stamped the triple flowers on my focal panel, then using a yellow marker colored in the bottom portion of the panel. Added the sentiment and layered on the diagonal striped patterned paper. I have been inspired by our Buddies who have used black & white on their sunflower makes recently.

Leafy Hello

Debossed with SimonSaysStamp Fall Foilage embossing folder, Taylored Expressions A2 Thin Frame cutting plate, Gina K Designs sentiment die and Picket Fence Studio’s Lavender frame die for my card today. I blended inks in random places and debossed it with the embossing folder…..well that was the plan and I had to make a second attempt. After debossing, swiped black ink over the background for the finished look.

Off Center

And some days that’s exactly how I go through my days. My card today is for a challenge theme of Anything Goes Clean and Simple and Off Center. That works!! Masking off a higher than center portion of my cardstock and ink blended some “blues” for the background landing of the My Hero Arts August 2017 kit silhouette. I really love the simplicity of silhouette images. And I am very proud of myself that with all the ink blending and stamping with VersaFine onyx black pigment ink, there is not one ink smudge!! It feels good to be a little off center!

Triangles

Today’s card uses Catherine Pooler’s Stamp of Approval GeoBuilders stamp set that has finally been inked. The larger triangle was stamped in Taylored Expressions Peaches n Cream, Mango and Pear inks then the smaller inside triangle was added and stamped in same colors all were fussy cut and adhered to the focal panel. TE’s Branch Out die and a previously stamped and die cut sentiment were added to the card as well as Liquid Pearls to complete this card today which will be shared with:

Double D Challenges: SHAPES The challenge lists squares, rectangles, circles and ovals so hopefully my “triangles” shapes will be accepted. I always play with the theme but……LOL.
