Just when I moved onto green cards didn’t one more RED color challenge appear and I decided to pick up the red gauntlet and play along!! My card today uses an unbranded cover plate die thanks to the enabling and inspiration of a Buddy, Gina K Designs Hello word die, Taylored Expressions Garden Gallery stamp and die, TE’s Hello, It’s Me sub sentiment stamp set, Michael’s Red Shimmer cardstock and Waffle Flowers A2 lacy and regular layering dies as well as piece of vellum.

My card today will be shared with:

Double D Challenges: The Color Red Challenge

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. No snow for us in Pennsylvania as the storm decided to stay south and focus on Virginia which is just fine with me but it sure is COLD! Take care and stay safe.

Playing along with a “F” theme alphabet challenge today with a FISH card. Pulling out an old Gina K Designs Quite A Catch stamp set for my queen fish and Hero Arts Fishy Stamp & Cut for two accompanying fishes and sentiment for meet the challenge. Taylored Expressions Rainbow Bright 3 die which was colored with some Spectrum Noir markers and the required embossing folder is also TE’s Rockin Rhombus. The EB folder reminded me of bubbles. I did clean my my “elf” space and used all the layers and notecard from my “mess”.

My card today will be shared in the:

Can You Handle The Pressure? Anything Goes With A Twist of Something Starting with the Letter F

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Another snowy day so soup is in the crockpot and should give me time to play. The forecast is calling for rain tomorrow to wash away today’s snow. That works for me. Take care, stay safe.

My new favorite card design! Four strips of Gina K Designs masking magic, Taylored Expressions Cherry Pop red ink for blending, Gina K Designs Vintage Summer butterfly stamped in versafine black and clear heat embossed then colored with red Spectrum Noir marker and sentiment from same stamp set. The butterfly was also die cut in black and vellum for layering and a little more dimension. I would liked to share my card with:

Triple B: February 2025 Challenge

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care, stay safe. And no I didn’t clean up my “elf” space but hopefully it will be organized by tomorrow.

Lots of white space maybe an extra layer for a true CAS card but I think it will work.

Today’s card uses Penny Black’s Heart Drops die, blooms from Taylored Expressions die which is somewhere lost on my work space. Sentiment is also TE’s Endless Valentine and a frame was cut from my Waffle Flower A2 layering dies with hot pink cardstock from Michael’s. I will be sharing my card with:

Simply Clean & Simple: February 2025 Love and/or Hearts

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care, stay safe and time to clean up my space!!!!

Starting with Taylored Expressions Stitched with Love cutting plate and poking out all those tiny hearts, I continued with diecutting TE’s Folk Love letters which left me to replace the “O” in LOVE with TE’s Folk Art Hearts stamp, stencil, die set. I was anxious to use Gina K Design’s new butterscotch cardstock and am enjoying the finished look on this card…..not just for Valentine’s Day, I believe.

Halloween and Pink Hearts???? Well I have pink and a heart so I was inspired by Two Old Bats Mood Board without losing the Halloween vibe. After watching a Mindy Eggen YouTube video on her moon background, my card includes Gina K Designs Friendly Silhouettes Sketched Flowers, SimonSaysStamp Happy Haunting and Taylored Expressions Gus & Gertie Halloween stamps.

Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge: February 2025 Anything Goes Halloween

Always fun to play along each month with Two Old Bats. Thanks for choosing my card as a Top 3 in January. Another round of icy weather tonight and the weekend……I’m ready for spring! Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time.

Red rubber mounted stamps are usually the most neglected product in my “elf” room but in the process of searching through my Valentine supplies I came across this hanging heart stamp. It’s an Inkadinkadoo Kathy Davis stamp that I am pretty sure I purchased at my local AC Moore store the beginning of my stamping hobby back in 2005…..wow 20 years ago. I’m still excited to be making and spreading cheer.

For my card the focal is that Inkadinkadoo stamp, Taylored Expressions Good Hearted Background stamp from 2022 and TE Endless Valentine sentiment from 2023. I really do wish I would have dated all of my supplies. Below is my not anymore neglected stamp!

My card will be shared in the Kick off Challenge for:

I’m getting my heart on with some Valentine cards! My card today has a few layers and may need extra postage or probably my card for hubby! Top layer is Taylored Expressions Mosaic Heart die using pink glitter paper and black shimmer cardstock, the arrows were cut apart from another die in my stash. Next up is the stenciled layer and Simon Hurley’s Happy Hearts layering stencil, using pink ink on one stencil and “slippery when wet’ Lunar paste for the second stencil. This layer was popped up on a embossed lips panel then backed with black and finally on a hot pink note card.

My card will be shared with:

Crazy is our fame – STENCILS are our Game: February 2025 Stencil Fun Challenge with a theme of red and/or pink and the required stencil.

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and stay safe.

What’s one more paper pad? Hard to resist especially a 6×6 variety of Valentine designs on sale and a voucher from my local Michael’s. That’s my story and I’m sticking with it!!! After choosing some patterns from the Sweet on You Recollections Valentine’s Day paper pad, I cut them into 1/4″ strips and staggered them diagonally on a sheet of copy paper. I added two gold TE decorative strips that were on my desk and layered onto some hot pink cardstock. The ephemera hearts were from my stash and the scripty love sentiment is Gina K Designs.

Today’s card will be shared with:
