Thanks to Johanna and her post as a reminder of a speed challenge with an apple theme. I searched out my stash and came across Taylored Expressions Apple coin dies. These coin dies were a free with any purchase a few years ago. I had three so apparently I must have spent a lot of money that month!!!The coin die cuts out the circle and the apple. I did find this idea on line with a different coin die. The frame was from my stash and may be a bit wonky looking. Sentiment is from a Love Nicole stamp and die set from I believe JoAnn’s many years ago. Adding spatter over my waste basket was probably not the best idea as it was pretty one sided. My card was completed in 9 Minutes; 21 seconds. Phew! Always fun to play along and share my card with:
As You See It Challenge: Challenge #361 An Accelerated Apple A Day Speed Challenge

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and stay safe.

Fun card design!
Thanks, Lisa.
Very creative! It works well for the challenge. Your splatter looks good and works well to tie it all together.
Thanks, Lisa, the splatter did get a bit one sided heavy. I appreciate your support.
Cute card. Your apple coins worked great.
Thanks, Judy, I’m glad I remembered them.
Fun card with those cute apple coins. I like the frame a bit wonky.
LOL…thanks Gerry, those thin frames can be difficult at times.
Clever card Gayle. I love the design and those apple coins are great.
Thanks, Johanna, not sure what the issue was with the challenge website but I was finally able to upload a few moments ago.
That is good. I know a while back they had some big problems and it took quite a while to sort out.
That’s such a clever idea Gayle and done in a great time too! Love those little apples falling from the coin die cuts. Thanks for playing along with our speed challenge at As You See It
Very fun, Gayle, and so glad to get you to use these dies! What a cool design element! Thanks so much for playing at As You See It!
Adding splatter in a speed challenge is very brave! I like your bright colours on a neutral base for a cheery look. And I like that you’ve used the negative space of the apples in the coins as well as the actual apples. Thanks for sharing with us at As You See It. 🙂
Apple coins are unique and I love the bright colours! We’re getting lots of original ideas with this subject! The spatter element is cool as well! Thanks for joining us at As You See It!
I have never seen these dies, but they are so cute! Perfect for the challenge, love the colors too! Thanks for sharing this with our Speed Stamping challenge this week at As You See It!
Gayle your trio of apple dies clearly came in handy for this one – using the apples and the negative space of the coin allowed a two-for-one and lots more detail and the sentiment is the perfect pairing too! Thanks for playing along with us over at As You See It!
