Taking time before the excitement and trick or treaters arrive the sister witches decided to have some “tea” and get ready for a busy night! For my card today, I decided on Great Impressions Witches Brew red rubber. After inking and stamping in black ink, I cut a mask of the witches, positioned the Tim Holtz layering moon mask in place and began my background ink by blending Distress Oxide Inks in wilted violet, black soot and twisted citron. I wish I would have kept the stamp in my misti to reink the image after completing the background. A bit of water splatter and some black soot. I added the detailed stencil of the moon and used yellow and orange inks that were on my dauber. Sentiment, bats and spider are SSS Spook up some fun stamp set and cut a frame using Taylored Expressions Squiggly Stacklets.
My card will be shared with Double D Challenges with a theme of the Trick or Treat Smell my Feet song. My treat today is “tea” and maybe a bat or two.

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care, stay safe.

Spectacular Halloween card, Gayle. The ombre background is beautiful and gives an eerie feel to the scene. Fun that the sisters are enjoying a cuppa tea before flying off. The silhouette image looks great against the colors of the background. Thanks for sharing with the “Trick or Treat” Challenge at the Double D.

Very nice! I like the idea of witches having tea.
Great card. Love the witches having tea, but one has to wonder what’s in the tea?
LOL….it’s a secret brew
Love the background you created for your tea-time scene!
As always a brilliant Halloween card. So much in view and a wonderful design.
Thanks Johanna
