A January birthday card for a friend’s little boy. This is my attempt to make “bubbles” on my background. After finding lids in different sizes and some Distress Oxide inks, I began inking the edges of the lids and stamped, added some water to try to move the ink around. Not exactly the effect I was looking to achieve…..maybe I need to wet the paper first so the ink moves a bit more. After drying the ink with my heat tool, I embossed this panel using a Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder with the layering panel in one pass and was pretty surprised how the two layers fit into each other after gluing together.
